Seems to be working in normal use on my desktop too, and passed x86_64 openQA tests.

kde-settings changes look good to me, we know the other two are good.

eyeball confirmed the fixed location looks right.

anaconda team reports that kickstart installs will break with this, so we should not push it stable until a plan to deal with that is worked out.

@alebastr oh, the whole package is a nightmare of ancient stuff that I don't know whether we need/should have any more :/ don't get me started on this whole thicket, it's nuts.

OK, with my patches, we at least get the new background in GNOME. KDE will need kde-settings to be updated.
