they're notes, and they're release-y!

yup, good in RC2 and RC4.

yup, looks good in RC2 and RC4.

yup, RC2 looks OK here too.

RC2 and RC4 testing looks good so far, all the various stuff from ~RC1 is resolved, translations are good, no crashes.

dcantrel: the new function is the only change between 3.10.1 and 3.10.2. However, we did not have 3.10.1 in Fedora 21. All builds from mid-June up to Final TC4 had 3.9.5. 3.10.2 is a significant change compared to 3.9.5, and is the ultimate cause of https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1169019 . myself, kparal and vpodzime agreed the most conservative and safe fix for that is to use a pyparted 3.9.5 with the new function backported instead of using 3.10.2; in the interests of getting the compose done as timely as possible, I'm going to build a pyparted 3.9.5-3 and have dgilmore edit it into this update and use it in RC2 compose. we're testing that at present.

looks OK in RC1 testing, so far.

actually, just found https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1169023 , which is a blocker bug and a fairly significant regression over .17, probably worth a -1.

looks good in RC1, the high contrast icon is present and used.

looks good in RC1, Server and Workstation images appear to have the product-y graphics.

Looks to be working fine to me in early RC1 testing.

lemonzest: are you using an HDMI display? If so you're likely running into https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1167511 . It's a regression for sure and ideally we'd have fixed it before sending 3.17.3 out, but as a 3.17.3 update is already in stable, delaying this update would not make things any better for anyone.

TC3 testing looks to be mostly fine.

found it, it was in comps for a couple of days. See https://git.fedorahosted.org/cgit/comps.git/commit/?id=5138ac8739e0c7a9d2fcf13bd467e198dd114c07 and https://git.fedorahosted.org/cgit/comps.git/commit/?id=91f358fd7dc2c98e61728a327ce29555cce3bc7b . I think we cut a TC/RC around that time which included the change, so anyone who installed from that TC/RC got the package installed.

It's true that fedora-repos-anaconda was not intended to be installed, but I'm pretty sure that in at least some cases it did. I think when we first added it, someone misunderstood the design and added it to comps and/or spin-kickstarts rather than adding it to pungi. Given that, I think adding the obsolete might be appropriate.

Looks good here. Generates correct config for multibooting UEFI F20 + UEFI F21 and BIOS F20 + BIOS F21, works in all smoke testing.

The reboot-instead-of-shutdown bug is https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1161100 , it does indeed appear to be caused by this update (reported reported that downgrading to -8 makes it work again).

looks good in a quick smoke test, eyeball diff to -5 looks correct.

both livecd-iso-to-disk --efi with Beta RC4 live image and creating a new live image work well for me with this.

well, we can push 92 for beta, it's not critical for pre-releases. for final the builds must match, though. will test.
