No regressions spotted
Seems to work fine on Lenovo P1 gen2, however following lines in dmesg after waking up from sleep:
[ 93.988541] ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [_SB.PCI0.PEG0.PEGP.NVDN], AE_NOT_FOUND (20211217/psargs-330) [ 93.988548] ACPI Error: Aborting method _SB.PCI0.LPCB.EC._Q3C due to previous error (AE_NOT_FOUND) (20211217/psparse-529)
Didn't happen with previous 5.17.2 kernel. Does not seems to affect the functionality, but worth noting
Works well
Seems to be working fine now! Previously reported issues are fixed.
Sound works, but lutris fail to start games, wineserver process is doing nothing, also telegram desktop app is crashing, there is a repeating message right after starting game/telegram:
Mar 03 21:36:03 wireplumber[2157]: <WpSiAudioAdapter:0x55b356d07a30> no usable format found for node 66 Mar 03 21:36:03 wireplumber[2157]: <WpSiAudioAdapter:0x55b356d07a30> failed to configure item for node 66
after downgrade to 0.3.47 both problem went away
After several reports of success with NFS and Fedora server as a target, I've tried few VMs this morning, and indeed if a RHEL 8 machine is acting as a server, it works with this kernel. However, my original NFS shares are hosted on a QNAP NAS and no matter what I do, I cannot mount those shares with this kernel and it works perfectly fine with 5.16.9. I'm not sure how to proceed or what to try.
NFS mounts do not work anymore, while working perfectly fine on 5.16.9. Opened a BZ here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2055362
There are a lot of NFS-related changes in this release, so one of them probably introduced a regression.
