The temperature is increased significantly compared to the 5.12.16-200.fc33.x86_64 kernel. Before (5.12.16-200.fc33.x86_64) it was between 37°C and 40°C. Now (5.12.17-200.fc33.x86_64) it's in the 70°C range. In kernel 5.12.16-200.fc33.x86_64 this high temperature didn't happen with basic things like watching a YouTube video in Vivald browser with some other pages open. But that's not all the time.

Kernel: 5.12.14-200.fc33.x86_64 is having trouble detecting my smartphone when I connect to USB or USB-C. It keeps running and doesn't open the selected folder and still adds the Desktop icons. (see images below) I did the test and logged in through the Kernel: 5.12.13-200.fc33.x86_64 and it's getting DESPITE that same message appeared when I connected the smartphone again. The Kernel: 5.12.14-200.fc33.x86_64 even detects, but when I try to open some folder through the computer, the screen gets a little darker and keeps spinning forever and that's when the Desktop icons disappear. I have to shut down or restart to get back to normal. Already Kernel: 5.12.13-200.fc33.x86_64 I can access and open the files, but first it opens this message that "Unable to display..." before. I tested it with Kenrel: 5.12.12-200.fc33.x86_64 and there's also the same problem with Kernel: 5.12.14-200.fc33.x86_64

Description of problem: The problem occurs when I connect my Xiaomi Android smartphone (Pocophone F1) and Redmi Go. I tested it with the Samsung S9+ too. There were no more cell phone options to test. When connecting whatever the smartphone, I give permission on the mobile screen to transfer the files. When I try to open the file manager (Caja) to access the smartphone, the screen goes dark and even my /home folders lock up. Sometimes I have to restart the notebook to get back to normal. But I don't have to do this every time I try to connect my cell phone. I'm also struggling with a Seagate STEA2000400 external 2T hard drive, Model SRDONF1. I cannot create folders or copy/paste files. In another model of the same 1Q brand (O P/N 9SCAL5-500), I can explore all these things. After some research I thought I might be missing some MTP packages and went to install via the command sudo dnf install gvfs-mtp kio_mtp libmtp simple-mtpfs, but they are all installed.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): caja-1.24.1-1.fc33.x86_64
How reproducible: Always: the problem is observed each time
Steps to Reproduce: 1 Connect an Android smartphone (I don't have an Iphone to test) on the Mate 33 to the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-54-574Q notebook 2 Give smartphone permission to transfer files 3 Access the smartphone with caja-1.24.1-1.fc33.x86_64 4 Open the DCIM folder
Actual results: When I try to open the file manager (Caja) to access the smartphone, the screen goes dark and even my /home folders lock up. Sometimes I have to restart the notebook to get back to normal. But I don't have to do this every time I try to connect
Expected results: I hope I can make my backups, create folders, copy and paste from any Android smartphone to my notebook or any external hard drive.
Additional info: On the recommendation of a friend, I installed Thunar and after entering developer mode on my mobile through the following steps: 1 - Open the Settings. 2 - Go to About phone 3 - Tap Build Number 7 times (on Pocophone, this is called 'MIUI version (for POCO) This should enable developer options 4 - Go to Settings > Developer Options > Select USB Setting 5 - Select MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) After that, I was able to transfer my files from the smartphone to the 1T external hard drive (O P/N 9SCAL5-500) through Thunar and also to the 2T one (STEA2000400, Model SRDONF1)
