Works for me, client and server side, over UDP and TCP. Not sure about the backwards compatibility issues from the previous 2.4 build re: .ovpn files - I'm only using via the NetworkManager plugin.

New build works for me
I get a spurious "extension has been uninstalled" message on logging in. Extension is functional despite that, but it's annoying.
Stable version doens't have this problem.

@kparal based on that thread (and specifically this comment) replacing tls-remote=<...> with verify-x509-name:<...> in the .ovpn file should work for you too.
Just a (re)statement that this works for me, including the server name feature with the latest nm-openvpn build from updates-testing.
Can we get this (re) pushed please?
