BZ#2269516 bluetooth.service becomes unresponsive when disabling the interface while a device is still connected since bluez 5.73

LGTM on Framework 13 AMD 7840U GNOME Wayland.

No regressions here.

100% CPU at rfkill block upstream at https://github.com/bluez/bluez/issues/785

Thanks, I looked at the description from the -1 build, attempting to toggle bluetooth off from the GNOME quick settings reliably pegs it at 100%. I have to killall -9 bluetoothd to recover.

That happens with both this and the upstream tip+patch build I referenced earlier BTW.

I have a crude workaround for the slow-scroll issue. Works with this build in addition to tip+patch as described there.

I haven't encountered bluetoothd pegging the CPU - @decathorpe any steps to reproduce that?

FWIW leaving my karma at -1 for now until I've had more time to shake this down.

Still reproducible by me and others, see same upstream issue.

I tried adding this change to a local fedpkg mockbuild but the patch wouldn't apply. I'll try to find time to get it built with that tomorrow.

No regressions; Framework 13 AMD 7840U GNOME Wayland.

Also noticed that when this slow-scroll-on-wakeup happens restarting bluetooth.service (to work around it) hangs for a long time before completing.

Looks like the slow-scroll issue may not be fixed, testing now.

@germano do you need a RHBZ tracking bug?

KPXC is set to auto-lock the database when the screen is locked. When locking the screen with the database open, it crashes:

kernel: keepassxc[68255]: segfault at 0 ip 000055fd4dc5c8ca sp 00007ffea3e8bf70 error 4 in keepassxc[55fd4db78000+2ce000] likely on CPU 1 (core 0, socket 0)

Opening bug shortly.

AMDGPU VCN firmware fixes HW decoding on youtube etc. (AMD Ryzen 7 7840U w/ Radeon 780M Graphics)

I also use a MT7922 controller, so far no issues with either the Pixel Buds Pro "headset" or the Logitech MX Master 3 mouse. The mouse does have a separate issue with bluez 5.73 currently in testing: FEDORA-2024-2407f0e894

Same problem with Logitech MX Master 3
