@sassam I just tested this on my machine. I have a G74Sx i7, GTX 560M

I also tested with Hibernate function which I made it work thanks to this: http://blog.kriptonium.com/2015/12/fedora-23-hibernate.html

I suspect that your problem resides with the GPU drivers. If you have the free drivers then I suggest you try the proprietary ones instead. If you have proprietary drivers, I suggest you uninstall and then reinstall them.

@sassam I presume you don't have Fedora on GNOME. I don't see any option for suspend/hibernate on GNOME. You are probably on a different DE.
