'opam search foo' completes fairly quickly now, no longer stuck on yum:
opam search foo 1.10s user 0.06s system 99% cpu 1.165 total
Downloaded build from Koji, sudo still works, and sudoedit -s / shows usage: which means it should not be vulnerable.
'sudo dnf install bcc --enablerepo=updates-testing,updates-testing-modular --best' confirm that it fixes https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1893665
No adverse effects after using this for a little while.
@pbrobinson karma is above threshold now, any chance this could be pushed out now? I have it locally installed and everything works well, meanwhile kernel 4.19 is broken for anyone with a Polaris GPU without this update.
Thanks, I was able to use this to run 'sudo dnf' inside a container now:
buildah unshare
rm -rf ~/.local/share/containers/storage
fedora-toolbox create
fedora-toolbox enter
sudo dnf install zsh
Permissions on /tmp are OK now, but sudo still doesn't work: https://github.com/containers/buildah/issues/1240#issuecomment-448949403
