With this update %sysusers_requires_compat and %sysusers_create_compat() correctly evaluates to empty in accordance with the packaging guidelines for Fedora 42+.

This update fixes the broken dependencies in the EPEL 10.1 repository, e.g.:

Unlike previous EPEL releases, EPEL 10 has separate repoitories for each RHEL point release. Please create an update for the EPEL 10.0 build as well. The build has already been built in koji https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=2655253 it just has to be pushed.

You need to create the Bodhi update. The Bodhi activation point for Fedora 42 has passed.

You should build for Fedora 42 as well and not only rawhide, since Fedora 42 also has GCC 15.

Thank you everyone for pointing this out. Dependencies between packages built from the same source RPM should be given as name = version-release. With the update to 6.34 there were some changes to the inter-package dependencies between the various root packages (a few additions and removals), that I adjusted in the 6.34.02-2 build. However, I failed to take into account that the roofit multiprocess support is available only in Fedora, and not in EPEL, due to too old (EPEL 8) or missing (EPEL 9) dependencies. The dependencies on root-roofit-multiprocess and root-roofit-zmq must therefore be conditional so that it only applies in Fedora and not EPEL. I have corrected this in the 6.34.02-3 build for EPEL 8 and 9.

Please rebuild also for rawhide (Fedora 42).
