Regarding bug #1450260, I still encounter the following issue that I had described in the bug report.
"With the animated wallpaper, I also encountered the case where before 9:00 I had the normal bright version of the wallpaper, and then it became 100% purely black at 9:00 sharp (ie. as if there was no wallpaper anymore)."
This time I think it may have happened at 3pm sharp.

Hm, actually I have a problem with the animated wallpaper: while it's still the middle of the afternoon for me, the wallpaper is currently completely dark (screenshot here: https://framapic.org/REub4EjX93ep/WeW8vo8DRVEA.png).
More precisely: the wallpaper was bright (around 14:00), then I closed my laptop during a meeting, and then I opened it again (around 16:00) and it was dark like that.
@adamwill thanks! I deleted all java-9 packages, then removed
/usr/lib/jvm/java-9-*, and reinstalled successfully. Should I add karma again?
