I don't know why. But it's working now. I've deleted the password entry in KWalletManager and explicitly put the username in the smb:// url and checked that my user is not blocked in AD.

Thanks for doing this so fast. I wasn't able to test it over the weekend, nor create a bug.

Unfortunally this does not solve my problem connecting to samba shares with dolphin. But i suspect that the problme is not kio-extras, but libsmbclient. When enabling the libsmbclient debug log it shows me SPNEGO error messages that the authentication failed. When I try to connect to a samba share not within a windows domain it is working.

I will open a bug for this.

For me it's fine when kio-extras is in a separate build. Perhaps we can enable stable by karma for that build.

I just tried build it locally, from the EPEL9 srpm, but it seems we have outdated dependencies in EPEL8. Which might also be the cause why it is not in this build. Because for EPEL9 kio-extras is in the same build as the rest of KDE.

For me it looks like kio-extras is missing in this build, this might cause my SMB problem.

For SMB shares in dolphin don't work after the update. They are shown empty. Can someone confirm?
