I no longer see the problem reported on libsndfile-1.0.31-1.fc33 . Thanks.
Annoying that this bad update still is in testing. It would be nice to get a working build with higher EVR - or at least drop this update from testing.
After installing libsndfile-1.0.31-1.fc33.x86_64 I start seing
$ file ~/Music/Maria\ Callas/The\ Greatest\ Arias/01\ -\ Rigoletto.flac /home/mk/Music/Maria Callas/The Greatest Arias/01 - Rigoletto.flac: FLAC audio bitstream data, 16 bit, stereo, 44.1 kHz, 20075496 samples $ pw-play ~/Music/Maria\ Callas/The\ Greatest\ Arias/01\ -\ Rigoletto.flac error: failed to open audio file "/home/mk/Music/Maria Callas/The Greatest Arias/01 - Rigoletto.flac": File contains data in an unimplemented format. error: open failed: Input/output error
Fixed by downgrading to libsndfile-1.0.28-13.fc33.x86_64 and reproducible by updating again.
@gaxweb: the problem you see must be something else.
Perhaps https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1895860 - try the workaround and see if that works.
If not, please file a bug report with more information.
@kartoffelviking: agreed - that is https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1738364
anonymous: This update is for mercurial-3.5.2-1 . You talk about mercurial-3.5.1-1 .
Right. I got confused but how I still got dependency error reports after the Mercurial pushed an uncoordinated update.
