Thanks! You are right, of course. I should have tested that first before posting. Going back to kernel 5.19.6 (as opposed to 5.19.8), the card is back and works as if it was never gone.

aplay -l lists the card when using kernel 5.19.6, but not when using 5.19.8. I will see about opening a new bugzilla ticket.

With the same error messages in the logs as reported in the bug report, my dedicated soundcard is still no longer listed within the sound settings. However, it is still listed using lspci. Strangely other sound cards like my USB headset are still listed and work fine.

The sound card in question is a "Creative Labs SB1570 SB Audigy Fx" (https://en.creative.com/p/sound-blaster/sound-blaster-audigy-fx). This sound card worked before the issue started for which this patch was developed.

Any advice? If more info is needed, please let me know and I am happy to provide it.
