Fails with "except Exception as e" for me too.

This update does not seem to solve all issues seen with the 5.2 globus upgrade. Structs globus_gfs_stat_info_t and globus_gfs_stat_info_t have had backward incompatible changes (fields added in the middle of the struct) which cause segfaults at runtime for dpm-dsi. It would be nice to get it fixed as part of the patch, as this one will not fix the runtime problems for current stable dpm-dsi packages.
