I have updated to 3.3.1 and above fix is included there. See FEDORA-2021-96c5f8e1a2

However mentioned patch is in 3.3.0 too. If you can still reproduce this issue, it would be better to follow up on this issue in upstream.

Dies after space is pressed on the prompt with:

error: ../src/reader.cpp:3837: failed assertion: should have been handled by inputter_t:readch

fish-3.2.1-2 works fine.

Possibly fixed here.

Should be fixed now.

I have proposed this bug[1] as a blocker for F27 release.

@raveit65 You should manually modify user's ~/.bashrc to source /etc/bashrc. Please see http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/rpms/bash.git/tree/dot-bashrc

I will wait for setup update[1] to be pushed to stable beofre pushing this.

The changes for setup (bug 1482040) have been pushed to f27 testing, so I am going to push this update to testing too.

This update has been unpushed.

This update depends on bug 1482040, however it seems the fix for bug 1482040 has not been pushed to f27 yet. So this update should not be pushed to stable until fix for bug 1482040 has been pushed to f27.
