BZ#2415167 SeaMonkey 2.53.22 crashes with SIGILL on exit

Is there a reason this is not available for Fedora 43?

@buc Looks like I was a little too optimistic. The following is 100% reproducible on Fedora 42 (MATE-Compiz):

  • Run command: seamonkey --safe-mode https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/ &
  • Wait until website is loaded.
  • Exit SeaMonkey (Ctrl-Q).
  • After a few seconds I get a notification saying "We're sorry, it looks like a problem occurred".
  • Applications -> System Tools -> Problem Reporting -> Details says: reason: seamonkey killed by SIGILL crash_function: WasmFaultHandler(int, siginfo_t, void)

Works for me. Thanks for adding support for custom date format. The LANG hack stopped working a while ago.

Will there be an update to SeaMonkey 2.53.9?

Works for me. But I think the actual version 2.53.7.1 should be reflected in the package name and the User-Agent string.
