karma

Rebuilt for Fedora 36 and seems to be working well, note that the clamd.exim.service file ideally needs:

TimeoutStartSec=420

to ensure that a lengthy load of clamav databases doesn't cause the startup to fail.

karma

Running for a day or so, no obvious problems.

I get this when attempting to update this rpm

Right, but then this is for the installed darktable package:

[ ]$ ldd /usr/bin/darktable | grep gmic [ ]$

which seems pretty odd.

Latest darktable.spec file contains BuildRequires: gmic-devel but I don't see any Requires: entries for gmic packages in there.

karma

The odd thing here is that darktable does not appear to link to libgmic.so so I don't know why gmic is unable to update because of a package that isn't using it as a link target.

karma

Requires a rebuild of darktable-3.8.1-1

Problem: problem with installed package darktable-3.8.1-1.fc36.x86_64 - package darktable-3.8.1-1.fc36.x86_64 requires libgmic.so.2()(64bit), but none of the providers can be installed - cannot install both gmic-3.1.0-1.fc36.x86_64 and gmic-2.9.9-2.fc36.x86_64 - cannot install the best update candidate for package gmic-2.9.9-2.fc36.x86_64

karma

OK, the -2 package does indeed install correctly.

karma

The update will not install due to the following issues:

Problem: cannot install the best update candidate for package moreutils-0.63-6.fc36.x86_64 - nothing provides perl(IPC-Run) needed by moreutils-0.67-1.fc36.x86_64 - nothing provides perl(Time-Duration) needed by moreutils-0.67-1.fc36.x86_64 - nothing provides perl(Time-HiRes) needed by moreutils-0.67-1.fc36.x86_64

None of the perl packages referenced show up in updates-testing or in bodhi as yet.

karma

Been running these for a couple of days, seems to be fine AFAICT.

Installed all the updated packages and everything works as normal and seems to have no obvious problems.

Installing latest plymouth-theme-breeze on F36 fails with this error:

karma

Won't install due to dependency on previous version in gedit-plugin:

Problem: problem with installed package gedit-plugin-wordcompletion-40.1-3.fc35.x86_64 - package gedit-plugin-wordcompletion-40.1-3.fc35.x86_64 requires libgedit-41.alpha.so()(64bit), but none of the providers can be installed - cannot install both gedit-2:41.0-1.fc35.x86_64 and gedit-2:41~alpha-2.fc35.x86_64 - cannot install the best update candidate for package gedit-2:41~alpha-2.fc35.x86_64

karma

Looks good, no obvious problems, but had not previously seen the bugs listed as fixed since 96.0.1

karma

If you have openocd installed this update won't install:

Problem: package openocd-0.11.0-1.fc35.1.x86_64 requires libjim.so.0.78()(64bit), but none of the providers can be installed - cannot install both jimtcl-0.81-2.fc35.x86_64 and jimtcl-0.78-9.fc35.x86_64 - cannot install the best update candidate for package openocd-0.11.0-1.fc35.1.x86_64 - cannot install the best update candidate for package jimtcl-0.78-9.fc35.x86_64

Assume openocd needs to be rebuilt again.

Appears to be working well, some issues seen with 0.4.6 have gone away.

No obvious problems with my usual mix of applications.
