Sound card profile displays all HDMI audio ports on my system, but 'Speaker Placement and Testing' does not produce any sound as before. Though under Gnome & other window systems it works.
oxo, you sure that's a regression and not an already present bug? (for me, the speaker tests fails both before and after this update)
No, I'm not sure, but I belive that it will be corrected somewhen in fine. I haven't puzzled out the local bug system yet. Sorry :)
It would be nice if it was lucidly documented someway ;)

rdieter, oxo: Speaker Placement and Testing was broken even in 5.3.1-3 (the previous stable update). It's a regression, but a several weeks old one.
my point is... did the speaker placement test ever work with plasma5? if so, when and with what version?
Yeah, so far Plasma 5 worked only unless you launch several browsers or something like that. Afterwards it starts continuosly restarting :)
works for me
And answer depends on if there were a progress at the point where speaker placement test stopped working :)
OK

Today plasmashel has started to crash about every 30 minutes. And I have no concepts yet if any updates could weigh with it ((:))
