Update advisory FEDORA-2015-a84e080ad0 appears to ship a more recent version of these packages (-5 instead of -3). Should this one be marked as obsolete ?
Look closer, the one you referenced has kdepim, kdepim-runtime (not kdepimlibs as here)... or am I missing something?
I agree the referenced update advisory's page doesn't list kdepimlibs. However I see kdepimlibs on the associated koji page. And installing that advisory using
yum-deprecated --enablerepo=updates-testing --advisory=FEDORA-2015-a84e080ad0 update
did pull in the newer kdepimlibs on my system. Perhaps that was not intended ?
It's mostly an unrelated side-effect
Ok. How do you want me to test this update then ? The other one already installed a more recent version. Does the other one then also contain the bugfixes in this one ?
If so I can add karma based on that update.
The other update inadvertantly depends on this one (apparently). As this is just a collection of libraries, it's hard to test this specifically... so my general advice would be to just verify related functionality (like kdepim, kdepim-runtime) continues to work as expected.
Ok, thanks for the info.
I have been running this update for a couple of days now without any apparent issues, so... works for me.
