Critical path update approved
I'm experiencing frequent random crashes in normal browsing mode. It has crashed at least eight times so far. (When I try to view details of the crash, the output window is always blank, but it is sending crash reports to Mozilla.)
After working with it for a while I now got multiple crashes as well, also during normal browsing.
videos on youtube in fullscreen are freezing after the mouse pointer disappears

Unfortunately still seeing the same random crashes as with 39 (this time happened by just changing a tab and it seemed xul.so related instead of libgstreamer.so). Currently have no time to debug it. https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/ec594328-9758-4bc6-b309-9dba32150812
Thanks for the feedback guys, could you please try to set layers.offmainthreadcomposition.enabled to false in about:config and retest?
The crashes are no longer happening for me with the about:config setting set to false. Works for me so far. davem

Scratch that - started getting crashes again. Took a lot longer this time to crash. Empty crash reports, apparently
Firefox freeze here for me
In the meanwhile there was a flash update. Since then (some hours ago) no more crash. But have also freezes in youtube videos.
We need to make a bug for this one. Have a clean reproducer, trying fresh profile and safe mode. Is someone willing to participate on this? Thanks in advance.
I have opened #1253086

YouTube videos are freezing up after mouse pointer disappears. Using Intel Haswell integrated video.
Scratch my previous comment, actually crashes quite often and youtube videos' picture freezes untill mouse is moved.
They don't seem to be having any trouble in F21 -- maybe this issue is related to the fact that GTK3 has been unwisely enabled for FF starting in F22.
