This update is currently being pushed to the Fedora 21 testing updates repository.
OK I have to take the +1 back ... seems like with this kernel one has to do "echo 0 > /proc/sys/kernel/yama/ptrace_scope" as root to be able to attach gdb to processes ... while its debatable whether this is really a bug its an undocumented behaviour change in a stable release.
