bugfix update in Fedora 23 for dracut

Status: stable 3 years ago

4.4 kernels do not have the config option CONFIG_MICROCODE_*_EARLY anymore. dracut used that as a marker to include the microcode in the initramfs.

Users, which are concerned about the microcode update to be executed as early as possible should recreate the initramfs, if they have already installed a 4.4 kernel using the command:

# dracut --force

How to install

sudo dnf upgrade --advisory=FEDORA-2015-fb301ec952

argh, sorry for the multiple comments; it seemed bodhi had not accepted them, so I retried after 15 minutes or so; but it seems they made it somewhere and a while later from there found the way into this ticket :-/
