4.4 kernels do not have the config option CONFIG_MICROCODE_*_EARLY anymore. dracut used that as a marker to include the microcode in the initramfs.
Users, which are concerned about the microcode update to be executed as early as possible should recreate the initramfs, if they have already installed a 4.4 kernel using the command:
# dracut --force
sudo dnf upgrade --refresh --advisory=FEDORA-2015-fb301ec952
