After upgrade any try to play sound ended up with no sound and the following error in the system log:

pulseaudio[2132]: [alsa-sink-ALC269VB Analog] alsa-sink.c: Error opening PCM device front:0: Invalid argument pulseaudio[2132]: [alsa-sink-ALC269VB Analog] alsa-sink.c: Error opening PCM device front:0: Invalid argument pulseaudio[2132]: [pulseaudio] sink-input.c: Failed to create sink input: sink is suspended.

After restart everything went back to normal.

After this upgrade I cannot playback any sound on my laptop or desktop. I had to downgrade to 1.0.29 to get the sound working again. This happened on both my laptop and my desktop, both Lenovo with Intel chipsets. :(
