Rules for udev to give regular users access to operate 3D printers.

Steps to test (when package is installed):

  1. Remove your user from the dialout group
  2. Disconnect the printer if connected
  3. Log out and back in from/to your desktop environment
  4. Connect the printer
  5. Control it with your favorite software

If you can control it, it's OK. If you get permission error, it's not OK.

How to install

Updates may require up to 24 hours to propagate to mirrors. If the following command doesn't work, please retry later:

sudo dnf install --refresh --advisory=FEDORA-2016-86837fdc16 \*
