This update breaks keyboard layout on all Gtk+ 3.x applications with wayland backend.
Affected applications:
All Gtk+ 3.x applications with wayland backend
Not affected:
Firefox (Gtk+ 3.20 but with x11 backend), several Gtk+ 2.x applications, Qt4 applications; gnome-shell itself
What happens exactly:
I have three keyboard layouts listed. Firefox and other x11 applications behave as they should using the correct layout which is set in gnome-shell (top right "system tray") and gnome-control-center. Gtk3/wayland applications use the secondary or tertiary layout.
@genodeftest Please file a bug, I can't think of anything in the 1.4 patchset that would break keyboards, we didn't really touch any of the keyboard code.
This update has enhanced the touchpad/clickpad gestures a lot. Now I can pinch and swipe with 3 and 4 fingers with ease (a lot of swipes was detected as pinches in the last version).
However, I'm still suffering from the pointer jump every once in a while when I try to use more than 2 fingers, though I think it's a driver issue within the kernel module (as stated in the logs) so I'll try to report it later in the appropriate bug tracker.
