This update allows accurate reporting of GPUs available in the Details Settings panel, including under Wayland and on dual-GPU systems (usually known as "Optimus" or "Hybrid Graphics").
Furthermore, it is now possible to launch specific applications on the discrete graphics card by right-clicking on the application in gnome-shell's overview.

Since this update, wayland sessions don't work anymore (gdm and "GNOME" session launch with Xorg, not with wayland).
Hardware: NVIDIA GTX 770 (in use, nouveau), Intel CPU (with iGPU disabled, not in use).
