FEDORA-2016-d458ee281a

bugfix update in Fedora 25 for systemd

Status: stable a year ago

This update is intended to work around bug #1378974, where a restart of the systemd-udev-trigger service when updating the systemd-udev package can result in any running X process crashing on some systems with multiple graphics adapters. This update removes the restart of the systemd-udev-trigger service from systemd-udev %postun.

Please note that as the service restart is in the %postun scriptlet, when you apply this update, the service restart will still occur, as it is run as part of the previous package version's %postun. However, once you have installed this update, subsequent systemd-udev updates will not trigger the bug. So, please ensure you install this update using the 'offline updates' feature, or from a virtual terminal. Do not install this update from a running desktop session.
