In Fedora 24 the issue seems to be still present. The client starts as a service but nothing else happens. From the command prompt I get this:
[francisco@localhost ~]$ owncloud
(owncloud:9411): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: cannot register existing type 'GdkDisplayManager'
I tried it in my desktop (the first report was based on a brand new Thinkpad T460s), which is a generic one with an upgrade from F23 to F24. Didn't work either:
[francisco@hogar ~]$ owncloud
owncloud: symbol lookup error: owncloud: undefined symbol: _ZN9QKeychain3Job6setKeyERK7QString
I'll keep checking.
OK, I just fixed it in my workstation. Here are the steps I took:
First, I removed owncloud:
Removed:
owncloud-client.x86_64 2.2.0-2.fc24
owncloud-client-libs.x86_64 .2.0-2.fc24
owncloud-client-nautilus.x86_642.2.0-2.fc24
qtkeychain.x86_64 0.5.0-2.fc24
qtkeychain-qt5.x86_64 0.5.0-2.fc24
Second, installed the current version in the repo for F24, not bothering to install the Nautilus client:
Installed:
owncloud-client.x86_64 2.2.0-1.fc24
owncloud-client-libs.x86_64 2.2.0-1.fc24
qtkeychain.x86_64 0.6.2-1.fc24
qtkeychain-qt5.x86_64 0.6.2-1.fc24
Third, I then installed the new packages (owncloud-client; owncloud-libs; owncloud-client-nautilus) and now everything is OK in the workstation. I repeated these steps in the Thinkpad, however, and the same GLib issue remains.

I have just installed Fedora 24 and owncloud 2.2.0 works flawlessly, without any kind of warning

Works for me.
I'm pulling the update to create one meta-update with all affected packages from qtkeychain ABI changes.
