This seems to work well on my Fedora system. I switched to the new systemd timer (thanks for making that!). The only thing I would say is that it was a little weird that the timer is called nextcloud-cron.timer instead of owncloud-cron.timer, but the two projects do have an obvious relationship. Thanks for the update!

After running this a while longer I've noticed that it repeatedly wants to upgrade the database. So far it's done this twice since I applied the update earlier today. It's the same dialog you see when you do an upgrade, and it disables third party apps every time as well.

I really can't replicate this at all.

I've had my instance on this build for a while now and I'm not seeing this.

What apps do you have installed?

Can you do the upgrade from the CLI and file a bug with the logs from it? Would be good to see what exactly it is changing or thinks needs changing.

This update has been obsoleted by owncloud-9.1.4-4.fc25.

Hello @jhogarth!

I use calendar, contacts, tasks, and news. This problem happened a third time last night, and I clicked on the upgrade button in the web interface but did not enable any apps. When I woke up this morning the issue had not appeared. So perhaps it is one of the apps that caused this.

I've installed owncloud-9.1.4-4.fc25 on the box now, and have only enabled the calendar app. I'll let it run for a while and see if it happens again. I'll slowly add apps until I see the problem, and then I'll run the upgrade with the CLI to get logs if it happens.

Thanks for renaming the timer!
