enhancement update in Fedora 26 for python3

Status: stable 2 years ago

Enable profile guided optimizations for x86_64 and i686 architectures. That should result in an increased performance of the Python interpreter by 10%-20% depending on the use case.

More information: https://bugs.python.org/issue24915

Update PEP 538 to its latest upstream implementation.

Change package description to reflect that Python 3 is the default Python and enhance verbosity at the description of the subpackages.

How to install

sudo dnf upgrade --advisory=FEDORA-2017-1e3062e0d6
