I’m not really thrilled about it bringing a graphical app in, but it does work.
This update has reached 3 days in testing and can be pushed to stable now if the maintainer wishes
I think @piotrdrag's concern would relate to subtitles? gaupol would be graphical but the aeidon library shouldn't pull in anything graphical.
Yes, translate-toolkit installed Gaupol app on my system. Is it strictly necessary? If so, maybe it could be put in a subpackage?
Ah right. Sorry I am not familiar with either gaupol or aeidon... I think one of the scripts needs gaupol?
But if there is too heavy or incorrect I will drop it or make it a suggested package instead perhaps.
According to translate-toolkit’s README, gaupol (the app) is required if aeidon (the library) is not available. Are you sure sub2po/po2sub don’t work without gaupol?
