After installing gnome-session-3.22.2-2.fc25 (from Koji, because dnf doesn't find it when using --enablerepo=updates-testing), I still don't have my .bash_profile sourced, and when I try gnome-session --version in the terminal, I get this (extra new lines added):
$ LANG=C gnome-session --version
/usr/bin/gnome-session: line 17: [: missing `]'
/usr/bin/gnome-session: line 18: : command not found
/usr/bin/gnome-session: line 19: -n: command not found
