this update appears to be causing Thunderbird to eventually consume all system memory, leading to system freeze. i've gotten system freezes 3 times in the last few days (this update went stable 4 days ago), and only in the most recent instance was the system responsive enough that I was able to recover without a hard reset ... in this instance I was able to see thunderbird was consuming all RAM, and killing the process brought the system back.
