FYI - I think we need this commit in f27 as well to drop the obsoletes: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/ghc-rpm-macros/c/ff7270f82db60a6e4c1618d59af9fb83a3facda3?branch=master
Also, are there any words of advice for someone going from a git-annex repo managed by git-annex-5.20140717-12.fc25.x86_64 to this new version?
seems to be working for me from initial playing around
Karma has been reset.
I'm not sure that ghc-rpm-macros was strictly necessary, since it correctly specified a version <= 5.20140717. Unfortunately, now that it's part of this update, I can't edit it. @petersen, can you add the -2 build here (after it's done in about an hour)?
@qulogic - all I know is that when I enabled the updates-testing repo and did dnf install git-annex, it installed ghc-rpm-macros instead of git-annex.
dnf install git-annex

i am having trouble installing this due to the ghc-obsoletes dnf stupidity...
Maybe git-annex should require the ghc-obsoletes in f27-updates??
Currently "dnf install git-annex" pulls in ghc-obsoletes from f27 for me. :-(
Erm, I meant this comment for git-annex https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/git-annex-6.20170925-2.fc27
Actually on a fresh f27 install it looks okay.
