This update seems to break digiKam 5.7.0 ... When trying to start digikam, the error message is : digikam: symbol lookup error: /lib64/libdigikamcore.so.5.7.0: undefined symbol: _ZNK8KCalCore10Recurrence15getNextDateTimeERK9KDateTime
karma: -1
This update has reached the stable karma threshold and can be pushed to stable now if the maintainer wishes.
GMail works fine again after downgrade, so I guess there is something wrong here. Given that GMail is a very commonly used service and also others might be affected, I leave a -1 here.
Well, I get the error message and have never seen it before, but the outgoing mail eventually is sent successfully. I do not believe there is a problem with this update other than the silly useless message.
Just FYI, I don't see any issues with sending via Gmail or my other mail server, port number and encryption setting issue maybe? Gmail the port is 587 and TLS this end.. Tested with kf5-ksmtp-17.12.0-1, kf5-ksmtp-17.12.0-2
Cant test Digikam as I don't use it.
Sorry, human error, I tested with the wrong version of digikam (installed after testing the rest of the update, but without enabling the update). digikam-5.7.0-4.fc27 starts.
BZ#1527411 digikam 5.7.0 no longer starts after an upgrade of KF5

Kmail won't send mail amy more. It produces a completely unhelpful error message: "Failed to transport message. Server error" and no other messages.
My problem was not in the update. WFM.

PIM stuff works, but digikam still does not start. Do I need a digikam update?
