bugfix update in Fedora 27 for mozilla-noscript

Status: obsolete

This is the first pure WebExtension release, compatible with Firefox 57+ only.

Notable changes since 5.1.4:

  • CSP-based first-party script script blocking
  • Active content blocking with DEFAULT, TRUSTED, UNTRUSTED and CUSTOM (per site) presets
  • Extremely responsive XSS filter leveraging the webRequest asynchronous API
  • On-the-fly cross-site requests whitelisting
  • Next to come: ClearClick and ABE (in the next few weeks).
  • Fixed content process cross-framescript leak (thanks dorando for patch)

@mastaiza This is what upstream released. The release notes above say, for example, that ClearClick and ABE are not yet implemented. That's not a reason to give -1 karma. Older version doesn't work with FF57 at all, so I'm not going to unpush this update just because some features are missing. It's better to have some features than none at all.

On https://noscript.net/ there's now a 10.1.2 with a few features added. (BTW, I don't suppose you'd be willing to do a one-time build for mozilla-adblockplus? I filed https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1513731 since it hasn't been updated to WebExtension yet. It seems that the current assignee is no longer active. Ivan Romanov attached a working .spec file.)

This update has been obsoleted by mozilla-noscript-10.1.2-1.fc27.
