Same as with kernel-4.14.4.
kernel 1.14 breaks my onboard audio system (alsa.name = "AD1989B Analog", alsa.card_name = "HDA Intel"). I hear an ugly noise in my speakers.
Btw. adding snd_hda_intel.power_save=0 to kernel command line fixes the problem.
