wfm: desktop 16GB Intel i7-3770 CPU, laptop 16GB Intel i7-3610QM CPU, laptop 8GB Intel i5-2520M CPU Lenovo T420, - all using the Mate Desktop Environment

Note that the 2 laptops both took an excessive amount of time to do the performance test - 2 hours or so!

This update has reached the stable karma threshold and can be pushed to stable now if the maintainer wishes.

Same as with kernel-4.14.4.

kernel 1.14 breaks my onboard audio system (alsa.name = "AD1989B Analog", alsa.card_name = "HDA Intel"). I hear an ugly noise in my speakers.

Btw. adding snd_hda_intel.power_save=0 to kernel command line fixes the problem.
