Dear kalev, could you be more specific about which vulnerabilities have been fixed? Looking at the release history of this package for fedora 27 the last release before this one was mozjs52-52.5.0-1.fc27. I assume that all vulnerabilities within firefox 52.6.0 and 52.7.2 are therefore included in this release of mozjs52 except the ones that have nothing to do with mozjs.

the update sure is a security update, but there is no information given what the security implications of not updating to this version are. I understand that information on mozjs security is notoriously hard to find, maybe the guys at canonical can help out:
