works ok on i5-3550 with nvidia GTX980 and driver from rpmfusion, but as reported earlier the slow shutdown (ca. 3 minutes) in combination with "rhgb" on the grub commandline is still present.

Eliminated the annoying "micro-freezes every" ~1/3 of a second introduced by 4.19.2
