On one server i did upgrade to f28 from f27, the new system was broken ( /etc/nsswitch.conf nis option not taken in account ) because yp-tools update doesn't pull nss-nis (as dependency) which doesn't exist on f27 did i ask the question on the right spot? should i create a bug ?
Hi, I think the correct place for adding the dependency on nss_nis is actually ypbind, where it was present until the rpm was removed from glibc. Now that it is once again packaged (separately) I will add it back.
No need for a bugzilla now, since I was already made aware of this issue but for the future it is definitely better to create one instead of commenting on an already stable update.
it was easier to make a comment here and as i was expecting not the right place to comment on.
