According to https://github.com/nextcloud/desktop/issues/203#issuecomment-438192757 this release should fix bug #1487701
I run fedora 28, the extension https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/615/appindicator-support/ and on a xwayland session running nextcloud does not open a settings window. from ps aux | grep nextcloud I see that nextcloud is running, but without any GUI showing up.
I only see a Warning: Ignoring XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland on Gnome. Use QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland to run on Wayland anyway. Setting export QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland and running nextcloud again will show an additional line QSocketNotifier: Can only be used with threads started with QThread.
Thanks for your effort to fix this issue.
