works for me
This update has been pushed to testing.
After updating today, I've rebooted into a black screen (one monitor was black, second one reported out of range), and journal said:
kernel: [drm:pipe_config_err [i915]] *ERROR* mismatch in pixel_rate (expected 148500, found 2969
kernel: [drm:pipe_config_err [i915]] *ERROR* mismatch in shared_dpll (expected 0000000016507e3f,
kernel: [drm:pipe_config_err [i915]] *ERROR* mismatch in base.adjusted_mode.crtc_clock (expected
kernel: [drm:pipe_config_err [i915]] *ERROR* mismatch in port_clock (expected 270000, found 5400
kernel: [drm:intel_cpu_fifo_underrun_irq_handler [i915]] *ERROR* CPU pipe A FIFO underrun
In the update, the only related packages were linux-firmware and hwdata. I've seen this issue twice, but couldn't reproduce it anymore after that. I'm running Thinkpad T450s docked with a closed lid and two external displays attached.
I'm not sure linux-firmware is the problem or if it was just a fluke. I'm giving negative karma solely to disable karma autopush and make sure this is not pushed too fast. @jwboyer, let's keep this in testing for a while.
Bodhi is disabling automatic push to stable due to negative karma. The maintainer may push manually if they determine that the issue is not severe.
Working for me.
