Kernel tests "default" and "performance" passed w/o issues on the following platforms: a) Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz, b) Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6600 CPU @ 3.30GHz, and c) Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6300 @ 1.86GHz. Operation of MATE desktop appears to be normal.

As noted for F27, F26 also build with gcc-7.2.1-2.fc26: https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org//packages/kernel/4.14.17/200.fc26/data/logs/x86_64/root.log So security regression (retpoline).
