desktop 16GB Intel i7-3770 CPU, laptop 8GB Intel i5-2520M CPU Lenovo T420 - all using the Mate Desktop Environment (all regression tests passed, but again the laptop took more than 10 times longer than the desktop!)

Plymouth does not work, cpufreq shows speed of 1.4Ghz on boot, not 3.6Ghz so I have to update manually to get back to full speed. Shutdown complains that watchdog0 could not be stopped.

Lenovo Thinkpad P50, nouveau driver, using external dock: Doesn't recognize/use my second display, lots of flickering when booting, video corruption when switching to text console.
