FEDORA-2018-cc812838fb created by jforbes 6 years ago for Fedora 28

The 4.17.11 stable update contains a number of important fixes across the tree. Also of note, starting with this release, kernel-headers is built from a different srpm. The contents should be the same, but there were some benefits to breaking it from the kernel build.

The 4.17.10 stable kernel update contains a number of important fixes across the tree.

Looks ok, bu just a qq - why latest kernel - I think from 4.17.9 onwards don't generate rescue image any more?

The rescue issue is a dracut bug that should have been resolved with dracut-048-14.git20180726.fc28 see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1581478

no regressions spotted

Tons of ACPI AML parser errors. Fixed in 4.17.12 with commit 54babab9098fcc0e875477e699933615f72e41aa. Please don't +1 updates that have new errors spit out at boot time. It looks bad to users who don't know what they mean.
