This rebases singularity from 2.2.1 to 2.5.1, which should include all corresponding updates (n.b. a request for rebase permission has been put into FESCo; hence auto-push has been disabled until they approve).
Please test for functionality and backward compatibility issues, particularly around the runtime components.

Tested the "build" (http://singularity.lbl.gov/docs-build-container; from buildfile and from a docker container) and the "exec" / "shell" workflows on a fresh F28 virtual machine.
Note that
kernel-modulesRPM is required in order for Squashfs-based images to function, butkernel-moduleswasn't in this particular VM image. This can probably be a tweak in a future build.Works ok.
I did a singularity exec using an image in /cvmfs/singularity.opensciencegrid.org both with and without -u, works ok.
This update has reached 7 days in testing and can be pushed to stable now if the maintainer wishes
Ok, we've hit a week in testing and have had three people successfully test. Probably as good as we're going to get - pushing to stable.
