Fixes the no compositor / compositor flickering issue.

Looks fine here. I used a Rawhide live to test the fix, on both a VM and my laptop I can use translucent terminals and I see no flickering issues.

@adamwill How were you able to push this to stable? I did not see that option in the GUI.
