This release switches to msgpack-defaults for easier parsing.
Msgpack will switch to a less confusing packing/unpacking style in the
future. This adopts the future adaptations as listed here:
https://github.com/msgpack/msgpack-python#planned-backward-incompatible-changes
it has the added bonus of requiring no decoding/encoding to str format
in python 3.6.
