containernetworking-plugins handles obsoletion of containernetworking-cni correctly this time, podman build uses this -plugins build as min dep (in addition to v0.8.4 bump.

Tom, please wait for updates to land in -testing before adding karma. Also, make sure to have -testing repos enabled when testing updates. The -plugins dep is still in -testing and should land in -stable in less than a day. Can you please retest?

My bad, on the last one. Adding --enablerepo updates-testing to my 'dnf install' command turned the trick. Baseline tests passed, reverting the -1.

Bodhi is disabling automatic push to stable due to negative karma. The maintainer may push manually if they determine that the issue is not severe.

For anyone that cares: containernetworking-plugins earlier had Obsoletes: containernetworking-cni <= 0.7.1-1 which didn't seem to work so now I changed it to "< 0.7.1-2" seemed to work, which is kinda weird, but whatever. I don't know if anything changed in obsoletes usage.

LGTM. Tried upgrading from podman-0.8.3-1 and 0.8.4-1; the former correctly replaced containernetworking-cni with -plugins; the latter simply upgraded -plugins from 0.7.3-1 to -2. In all cases, docker-autotest suite passes the expected tests (now including the tcp/udp issue, #735).
