The most enhancements are in the alsa library. There is the support for the new extended Use Case Manager configuration syntax which should help with the Intel's SOF DSP driver. All hardware which uses UCM should be retested. The alsa-firmware contains new firmware files for Creative CA0132 HD-Audio Codec and Intel's SOF DSP driver. The pulse plugin in the alsa-plugins package can specify the specific pulse device.

Would just point out that SOF support is not enabled in current 5.3 kernels and is not planned til 5.5 due to previous incompatibility and (presumably this) missing firmware, as per this discussion - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1772498.
